Expanding their extensive range of RV comfort products, Dometic Australia are now announcing distributorship of Powrtouch Caravan Movers, making caravanning life even easier.
The new product will take the main focus at the Dometic - WAECO corporate stands at the national caravan show circuit in 2011.
Dometic Australia Divisional Manager RV Aftermarket, Mike Silich said: "With the Caravan Movers now in our range we will be able to provide further comfort to RV enthusiasts. These products will make life easier not only on holiday, but also when it comes to moving their caravan or trailer in and out of the garage at home."
The Powrtouch Heavy Duty Caravan Mover (Model 5) is specifically designed and manufactured for the Australian market with extremely light weight, yet robust construction for the heaviest single axle caravan. Suitable on most slopes, it can easily move and position your caravan or trailer in any direction (even 360o with single axle vans) on a level surface.
The hand held remote control unit communicates by radio signal with a receiver unit mounted inside the caravan, giving the operator precise control of the movements to enable the caravan or trailer directly on to the tow ball of the vehicle. Braking is instant with the simple press of a button.
The Powrtouch All Wheel Drive (Model 5T) is designed to fit caravans with a Twin or Tandem axle. It is fitted with a reduction gearbox to provide more moving power to the caravan wheels. The All-Wheel Drive model combines two Powrtouch units which are wired to work simultaneously - one positioned in front and another behind the caravan wheels.
